Kick off those camp clothes and ditch the bug spray, because we’re taking it from BMC to the Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco to toast to the transformative power of camp. From current parents to former campers, health care providers to staff; this once yearly event provides a rare opportunity to gather our entire community together for a evening of dining, dancing, celebration and fun!
At Tech in the Trees, we will celebrate the intersection between technology and camp as we honor Dr. Bruce Buckingham, Professor of Pediatric Endocrinology at the Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital and Champion of Diabetes Camp. From lecturing on closed-loop systems to dressing up on theme days, Bruce embodies the spirit of camp through and through.
On Saturday, October 20th, hundreds of attendees will gather at the Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco to celebrate the technological advances being made and their inclusion into camp life. There will be a cocktail reception, formal dinner, and fantastic silent and live auctions. Please, join us as we dine, celebrate, and raise money for DYF.
