81 summers later, DYF still holds true to Dr. Olney’s philosophy, creating unique recreational and educational opportunities for the Type 1 community, transforming a feared illness into a manageable condition. But times have changed since camp began, and diabetes technology is evolving minute by minute. By embracing new technology and incorporating cutting edge diabetes care into our resident camp education programs, we are better equipped to support children, teens and families affected by T1D so they may lead full, healthy, beautiful lives, NOW.
On Saturday, October 20th, hundreds of attendees will gather at the Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco to celebrate the technological advances being made and their inclusion into camp life. There will be a cocktail reception, formal dinner, and fantastic silent and live auctions. Please, join us as we dine, celebrate, and raise money for DYF.
