What to expect at DYF's April 20th Gala?
This is the one night each year we ditch the hiking boots and bug spray and dress up for a night on the town! Join us at the historic Fairmont San Francisco for an amazing night of community!
5pm - EXCLUSIVE VIP reception for our sponsors. This includes passed hors d'oeuvres, first access to the silent auction and premium drawing, and an open bar! This portion of the evening is only accessible to sponsors – sponsorships begin at $1,000 for two tickets. If you’d like to upgrade your tickets to a sponsorship, please reach out!
6pm - Once you arrive in the stunning Fairmont Hotel atop Nob Hill, you’ll enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres and complimentary beer and wine (additional alcohol available at cash bar). As you take in the sweeping view of San Francisco out the floor to ceiling windows, socialize and bid on amazing silent auction items that range from an exclusive tour of the KGO ABC-7 News studio with Kristen Sze to your own private wine class for up to 20 people!
7pm - Enjoy your choice of entrees and wine as CBS’s Paul Heggen leads the program. Our key address will be by CDLN and Adventure Program participant Brody Friedeberg, who will share how his experience last summer impacted his perception of what life with T1D can be.
